Letter of Administration & Succession Certificate

NADRA provides Succession Certificates for movable assets and Letters of Administration (LOA) for immovable property of deceased Pakistani citizens. Eligible legal heirs can apply through designated NADRA centers by providing the required death, identity, family, heir, and asset/property documents. NADRA verifies the legal heirs using family records and processes the application without requiring the heirs to go through a court process in cases covered by the applicable law. Applicants can submit a new application, amendment, reprint, or decline-related request as applicable.

Required Documents

  • Death Certificate of the deceased NADRA CNIC Cancellation Certificate Family Registration Certificate (FRC) List of legal heirs with copies of their CNICs Details of movable and/or immovable assets/property Letter of Authorization / Affidavit attested by an Oath Commissioner
  • The deceased person and legal heirs must be Pakistani citizens, and the relevant property/assets must be located in Pakistan.

Assets Rs. 100,000 or more: Rs. 20,000 Assets less than Rs. 100,000: Rs. 10,000 In Sindh, an additional Rs. 2,000 applies where applicable.
