Online or In Person? What NADRA Says
On 22 August 2026, NADRA clarified that the facility to apply for a first-time ID card through the Pak ID app on the basis of a B-Form continues, but with a condition:
- If your photograph, fingerprints and iris records are already linked to your B-Form in NADRA’s system, you can apply through Pak ID without visiting a registration centre.
- If some biometric data is missing, the app can’t be completed entirely online, and you must visit a NADRA Registration Centre once to provide it.

How Do I Apply Through the Pak ID App? (Step by Step)
